Doyle Svenby - Shooting Star

MSAC Treasurer Christi Mayfield presents artist Doyle Svenby with a $4,000 check to purchase "Shooting Star" near the bridge over Fountain Creek on Canon Avenue. The purchase was made possible by nearby residents, who are in the photo along with MSAC Board member Julia Wright (3rd from right) and Mayor Marc Snyder (2nd from right). MSAC plans to donate the sculpture to the City after renovating and remounting it.
